SimpleTones, is an interactive sound installation that enables non-musicians to engage in collaborative acts of music making, through playful interactions, by Francisco Zamorano.

GAMING THE SYSTEM, a board game to help detained immigrant youth understand their rights, by Lien Tran.This project is in partnership with AmigoLegal and recently won the $10,000 grant prize in The New School’s inaugural New Challenge for social innovation.

FIND ME A GOOD ONE, is a surreal puzzle platformer that explores responsibility felt by players towards non-playing fictional characters, by Haitham Ennasr and Andy Wallace.

DENTAL PLAY / NAKED MOUTH, a game console / medical device for dental patients to occupy themselves as their mouths get renovated, by Ming-Che Tu.

Being Done

I recently released an iPhone/iPad game called Bounce Box, a simple arcade reflex game with trance visuals. It’s not the best game I’ve ever made or have ever wanted to make, but it is a lot of fun to play, and it’s done. Game development takes time and especially when working solo and without hard deadlines, it can be really hard to actually push something out the door. At almost every stage, there is more that can be added or polished but at a certain point all of these improvements prevent the game from ever happening.
