ELECTIONS TOMORROW

It’s all come down to this. We are about to pass the torch to a younger generation on Game Clubbers. At tomorrow’s meeting, we will be holding officers elections. The nominees are in, but this is your last chance if you want to get involved.

Doodle Defense Kickstarter

Your truly, Andy Wallace, made a game, but it needs some funding to be really awesome. Doodle Defense is a tower defense game that explores drawing as a means for game interaction and play. Players draw mazes and towers on a whiteboard with regular dry erase markers to stop projected foes. Check it out! tinyurl.com/DoodleDefense

Tomorrow: Narrative Games & Elections
Fri 2/17 @ 7PM

Join us as we explore games focussing on story telling and how narrative can be created in a game system. Weave new tales with games like Once Upon A Time or relive classics like Arabian Nights and Lord of The Rings. And before the games start, we will be holding ELECTIONS!

Next Week: Physical Games & Joust Tournament
Fri 2/24 @ 7PM
6 E16th, 12th Floor Lab

It’s our last Game Club meeting and we wanted to go out with a bang, so we’re going to stand up, move around and maybe even hit each other as we play PHYSICAL GAMES. In addition to R. Corbetta’s Shove, YaMove & some classic non-digital games including the precursor to Ninja, PDQ, we all be holding a Johann Sebastian Joust tournament. IGF Nuovo award finalist, J.S. Joust has become a club favorite, and if you have never played this beautiful no-screen game or you are an old pro eager to show off your skills, join us next Friday.
